Messaging Compliance Policy
Effective Date: 1/12/24
Bumper Time values your privacy and is committed to transparent communication. This Messaging Compliance Policy outlines how we use SMS (text messaging) to interact with our customers and how we ensure full compliance with U.S. messaging laws and carrier guidelines, including Twilio’s A2P 10DLC program.
1. Purpose of Messaging
Bumper Time uses SMS messaging to:
Confirm scheduled repair appointments
Provide updates on service status and vehicle readiness
Answer customer questions or follow up on inquiries
Send promotional offers (only with prior consent)
Share preliminary estimates after receiving photos (by request)
We do not use SMS for mass marketing without a customer’s clear opt-in.
2. Opt-In Policy
Customers must explicitly opt in to receive SMS messages from Bumper Time. This can happen by:
Filling out a contact form on our website
Texting us first to start a conversation
Checking a consent box when booking online
Verbally agreeing during a phone call
3. Opt-Out Policy
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying:
“STOP” – stops all messages
“HELP” – gets help or instructions to opt out
Once “STOP” is received, no further texts will be sent unless you opt in again.
4. Message Frequency
Message frequency depends on the service but typically won’t exceed 3–5 messages per job, unless you reach out first or ask us to keep you updated more frequently.
5. Data Privacy
We never sell or share your phone number or personal info with third parties for marketing. All customer data is stored securely and only used to assist with service and communication related to your repair.
